The Chicken Genome Mapping Project represents a truly International Collaboration with many laboratories in approximately sixteen countries participating in the effort. Three of the laboratories represent Coordinating Laboratories providing Internationally recognised reference populations and computing resources. The otherCollaborating Laboratoriesare involved in the identification of markers and the mapping of those markers to the chicken genome.
